- Day 2: Hike mostly on the Appalachian Trail (~8 miles moderate level) and cross the iconic Bear Mountain Bridge into the state park
- Day 3: Another day of hiking mostly on the Appalachian Trail (~5 miles moderate level) with a stop at Perkins Tower for a panoramic view of the river and highlands
